Michael Tillman

Michael Tillmann
Co-Founder, Chairman

Michael Tillmann has over 25 years of experience in senior executive andsupervisory board President & CEO for Roche Diagnostics in North America and before that in the Asia Pacific and Europe. Mr Tillmann also founded a PCR company, Vela Diagnostics with the vision of establishing the company as a global provider of integrated diagnostics solutions that address individual customer needs in molecular diagnostics focused on PCR and NGS. Prior to the Roche assignments, Mr Tillmann was Managing Director of the start-up company Artus GmbH, which was later acquired by Qiagen. Mr Tillmann started his career in a pharmaceutical trading house, Holstein GmbH, as Managing Director, representing over 20 principals in Japan and South East Asia. Mr. Tillmann is also an active entrepreneur, supporting companies as an investor and advisor. He supports companies in its strategic positioning, including fund raising and M&A activities, raising in his career close to $500 million in funding and accompanied multiple companies exits from trade sales to listings.

Ryan James Lim
Co-Founder, CEO, Board Director

Ryan James Lim is a seasoned entrepreneur despite his young age, having started his first company at 19. Prior to Kyberlife, Mr Lim ran an e-commerce marketplace start-up for B2C users in the cosmetics industry whose technology was absorbed into Kyberlife. Mr Lim is trained in Chemistry, Biomedical & Pharmaceutical science; with a history in the healthcare industry, working as a research and surgical assistant in 6 different hospitals across 3 different countries.
At the age of 16, he was thrown into the pharmaceutical corporate world, and also served as a research staff at the Metabolomics Facility of Duke-NUS Medical School where he worked on analyzing metabolites in individual samples from experimental organisms or in patients and studying both experimental animal models of metabolic diseases.
Prior to Duke-NUS, Mr Lim served as a surgical resident in Shanghai Renji Hospital and was a prominent photography producer in Singapore that was invited to be featured for Today at Apple and other publications. He is also a passionate volunteer for The Giving Tree and The Origami Project in collaboration with St. Luke’s Eldercare.

Joanna Ling
Independent Board Director

Joanna Ling has a background in Landscape Architecture and an Executive MBA from Oxford University. She volunteers as a mentor for Oxford University Innovation (OUI). She is currently a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and has also been a member of EO (Entrepreneur’s Organization) for 14 years, serving on various boards for EO on a global scale. She founded the EO APAC Bridge Chapter and served as its founding president for 2 terms.
As the CEO of PE Holdings, Joanna Ling helms a real estate conglomerate that focuses on retail, commercial and residential developments all over Malaysia. Under her leadership, PE Holdings has successfully launched and operated large scale projects including flagship malls in Kuching and Bintulu, and the largest outlet mall in Southeast Asia located in Penang, Malaysia. They have successfully navigated the pandemic to transition into residential developments with a 496-unit condominium in Penang. On the development front, Joanna currently focussed on a 33-storey office development, 5 acres medical and healthcare centric development and a 60-acre housing development.
She believes the next frontier of real estate is age-tech and smart sustainable living and continues to explore innovations to improve quality of life. Joanna also oversees a diverse range of subsidiaries including bore pile engineering, insurance, road building, waste management and food & beverage, demonstrating her proficiency in managing multi-faceted organizations.

Bern Lepper
Board Director

Bern Lepper, With over 25 years of professional sales, marketing, logistics and general management experience, Mr. Lepper is the Founder and CEO of Intega Health. Prior to Intega, he held multiple senior executive positions in DKSH (DiethelmKellerSiberHegner) with the last role held as the Regional Vice President of Healthcare.
He was responsible for leading the Healthcare organizations in SEA to Implement Market Expansion Services and attracting >200 Healthcare companies as new business partners for Market Entry; with coverage of the Pharmaceutical, OTC/Consumer Health, Medical Devices & Supplies, Dental, Ophthalmology and Companion Animal Health segments. Mr Lepper also has a track record in emerging pharmaceutical markets in Russia and SEA where he was the Managing Director of Sanofi-Aventis Indonesia, CFO of Aventis Pharma Thailand and Area Manager of the Eastern Europe Pharma Division of Hoechst AG.

Dieter Schlosser

Dieter Schlosser career began in 1982 at Daimler Benz AG, where he held a key position as General Manager for IT in Asia, followed by other key positions at DKSH and BHP. Later, as CEO of SoftwareOne, he became one of the key figures in the global technology industry. During his tenure there, he was responsible for key milestones such as the acquisition of Comparex, the successful IPO of SoftwareOne in October 2019 and the transformation of the company into a global provider of software and cloud solutions, leading to a doubling of net sales to over one billion Swiss francs by 2022. He is a Global Transformation leader, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer with a proven track record of achievements spanning 30 years throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Africa, Dieter has managed multi-cultural teams comprising up to 1300 professionals across multiple locations along with annual budgets of over $750M USD. He is effective in both implementing greenfield approaches and as well as executing complex turnarounds.  Since 2012 Dieter is the Global COO & Transformation Leader of the world’s largest SW Portfolio Management company headquartered in Switzerland with over $5.5B USD in 2015 revenue and 40% year-over-year growth. As a unique industry player focused on the end-to-end management of an organization’s software portfolio, the company’s portfolio ranges from software compliance management and risk mitigation services to technology roadmapping geared towards enterprise-wide cloud deployment.

Dr. Michael Gorriz (PhD)

Board Director, CIO Advisor

Dr. Michael Gorriz served as Global Group Chief Information Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, where he was responsible for the banking operations, systems development and technology infrastructure which underpin the Bank’s client services. He was also instrumental in defining and implementing the Standard Chartered Bank's digital and innovation agendas. An industry award winner, Michael joined from Daimler AG (Mercedes-Benz) which he served as CIO, with responsibility for the smooth operation of all Daimler systems and the management of IT projects globally. He held various CIO roles within the Daimler group.

Mr Henrichwark leads SPRIM Ventures initiatives in Medtech. Sven has 20 years of operational leadership experience in the biotech, life science and medical technology industries with a successful track record as COO, CMO and GM of businesses at $1B/>1000FTE level and as a CEO at the $50-100M level. With over 10 years experience working in the US, Europe and Asia respectively, Sven has a global perspective and is passionate about bringing people and ideas together to build great businesses and teams.

 

Prior to SPRIM, he served as the executive vice president of APAC for AVANTOR/VWR, one of the largest laboratory product distributors internationally. Prior to joining VWR, Sven was the CEO of Echosens, Global Commercial GM of GE Life Sciences Bioprocess, Service GM and COO of GE Healthcare in Asia Pacific and the CMO of GE Life Sciences. In the earlier part of his career, Sven worked for the Monitor Group in LA and Paris and as a product manager for Incyte Genomics in the Bay Area.
